Death awaits my tired aging soul
I'm wrinkled graying old
my life has came and come
that barely can I recall
just mere memories covered in hazy fog
but in a blink of a eye
a clock goes on
til times gone
tiredly fading to some place I never saw
but, only faintly I recall
a life mostly sad and regretting my wrongs
what a shame that life really isn't that long
I surely would have re-done
my weary mind ponders on the thought of what
I could have
should have
would've have done
when only I can see
my life has came and gone
going to some eternal unknown
and unfortunately
life is only but once
and when you thought that took forever
time
tick
tick
tocks
times
up...
