Bold strokes of a confident hand,
The painting is a masterpiece,
Executed as planned...

All we say is I'm sorry
Grasping for what isn't there
Blinded by the veil
Our eyes see what we want
Falling blindly down this path
Tripping over insincere words
Struggling and still bleeding
Until there is nothing more
I can cry and scream all I want
Plead through these tears
I'm sorry isn't working
It seems it never will
