Ukraine and Russia are still on the battleground.
Taiwan and China are on each other's throat.
The war between Israel and Gaza, unending.
Solutions not yet found to these unrest.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The festive bell echoes.
Another transition into a new year.
Chapters are unfolding, scripts are getting set.
Journey of life is ongoing, the trumpet is yet to be blown.
Oh, 2023, here is my adieu.
Thanks to the memories and joy you brought.
Oh, I'm thankful for the memories you have created.
In you, a day was formed, a night concluded.
In 2024, let prosperity be unlimited.
Success and joy should radiate in the new year.
Oh, 2024, in you, a day should shine bright with the guide of the greater light.
Oh, 2024, in you, a night should be enveloped by the lead of the lesser light.
Oh, days count, they turn into weeks.

A year is formed, a breath of new air.

Youths are up awake till the time you will be appreciated.
For at midnight, the cries of "Happy New Year" are applauded.

Joy and abundance with happiness unlimited.
Grace in the sight of God and favor in the sight of man.
Oh that dreams may be well fulfilled in you.
Oh, 2024, that you may be prosperous.
Bringing out the good in all of God's creations.
That beauty may be vivid in your presence.
And world problems are solved forever to arise no more.
Oh 2024, that you may be peaceful.
And in you, the world would be blissful.

And may the desire for our dreams to be fulfilled, may it not be our imagination.

With the remembrance of past deeds that atimes make them mad.
Sometimes, in the new year, it's sadness and pain and complex emotions.
All brought about by loyalty and great devotions.
New year resolutions are made with desires for fulfillment.
But many are left unfulfilled because of lack of devotion, commitment, fate and procrastination.

Our goals are laying unachieved, in you, let them be fulfilled.

Wealth and health, shall never leave our abode.
