Today is the day that I
cease to make myself smaller
for the convenience of others.
Gone are the days of
making myself
an easier pill to swallow,
or forcing myself down anyway.
No, I will no longer
dilute every fiber of my being
just to make myself
more easy to digest,
and from here on out,
I will not be issuing apologies for such.

if I’m not digestible, you will just have to choke.
