Oh night!
Of glaring flaws
Amidst darkness
and obscurity

The stars and the
moon smiling in
a glittering glow,

Long long nights
Of emotion’s fight,
Buried in thoughts
Stuffed in my closet,

Stuck in silence
Behind my candlelight
A shove and a fallback
To memories gone

Oscillating between moods
Blaming heaven and hell
Cursing truth for painted lies

And I wonder
Which option to make
To choose between
Life and death,
As I lay lifeless here
Watching the stars,
Gazing at the moon
In the whispers of cold breath
In this lonely long night.
