Dreaming in the day,
Swaying in the wind like hay.
Half past noon and half asleep,
Your eyes twinkle,
Giving me courage.
Covering me with warmth,
You take my hand in yours.
Like a teddy bear protecting me,
Like a diamond in the ruff.
You are my knight in shining armor,
You are my second half,

Sunlight roams your presence,
Nighttime glows to Day.
A shining beam in darkness,
A light to my path.
