The Righteous
Their lips drip honey as silver clad tongues form eloquent verses about freedom and human rights
Their sweet persuasive rhetoric designed to draw us in like lambs to slaughter
We follow without true understanding not knowing what to think on our own
Led by those with a perverse sense of justice and righteous indignation
I speak of every side of each argument, extremists on all facets
Pulling like a magnet at those remaining in the middle who's only goal is trying to bridge the gap between the poles
