My African King
Nedu,
Your strength pulls down walls higher than the wall of Jericho
Mightier and braver than Hercules and Achilles
Men of valor dream to see the gleam of your light
Even the stars array when they hear your name
Helpless I am, when I hear your voice
If only you could hear the song I sing for you.

Nedu,
Your wisdom leaves the old to ponder on what century you are from
You tell history like the twenty-six alphabet
Your smile makes the young descendants of Eve flaunt their curves at you
Smitten by your sword of love have I been.

Nedu,
Like a bolt of lightening, you have struck my heart,
Your skin upholds the black history,
And radiates throughout the room,
My African King,
Fairest of them all
Let me be your bows and you the archer
So I can feel your touch.
