Under the moonlight
with the eyes of the night
twinkling all over the world
watching
watching you and me
you can't hide beneath the trees
for the night owls
they see
they are everything beyond your sight
you can't hide behind motor cars
for the night flies
they're everywhere they'll find you
and see
they see it all
you can hide underneath the covers
night stars
oh, they too see
everything
done in daylight and in the dark of night
and will also bare witness
oh, the sacred night
has eyes
you alone cannot see
but the magic of the dark sky above
the light of the moon, stars & galaxies
