Justice that still lingers
Silence like a graveyard
The courtroom stood with ears in attention
The people vibrating with anticipation
Bated breaths stood the accused
Deep in thought the judge
Tension in the defenders
All waiting.

Waiting for the judgement
A new course of life for the accused
A victory for the accuser
Who knows or failure
Maybe a justice for the accused.

Finally the judge spoke
The final judgement everyone awaited
Sadness, nervousness and dread spread within the accused
But the words of the judge
Came out like cold water to a desert traveller.

Relief it gave to the innocent
Unbinding him from the false accusation
And the face of the accuser
Morphed into horror and disbelief
While the expression of the accused became light with relief and happiness
At last the end has come
Justice has been served
The little remnants of it
Which still lingers in the world.

So it still exist
Handed to some lucky weaks
Who thought and believe it doesn't exist for the likes of them
But even if it's late
Or unsatisfactory
Justice will still be issued
Even if in the form of karma.
