Calm found in during the storm
I sit on that cliff facing the sea
Thinking of naught
Letting wind pass me
A few raindrops

The wind howling as the storm begins
Glance o'er the edge
See violent waves
Assault the coast

Rain picks up as I begin to soak
But I won't move
It won't take long
To dry by fire

My ears perk up at thunder's loud roar
I missed the lightning
No matter, sit up
Wait for next bolt

Sit for the whole lifetime of the storm
Jump at each strike
Always surprised
But never scared

I see a small boat fighting the waves
Pity the crew
They must be tired
But they'll soon rest

Sunlight begins to peak from the clouds
Stand up to dry
Watch sun's reveal
Then walk back home
