Life has taught me
Always reach for the Stars
Never to just get by
Use my Sharp creative mind
Until this year
Found out...I have been
Wasting too many dimes

Peace is something that
Is treasured deep
It's been taken away
Tired of this awful sweep
Been bullied, harassed in
So many ways
Kindness, love, laughing
Are the adjectives I play
Work too long in my time
To have my favorite discriptions
Taken away

So I will pray...be patience
Maybe, if I am blessed
Tomorrow will be a better day
