Sharing for Good?
She thought, as a geyser, she could extinguish flames
And scalding, bubbling, magma, that scorched green earth
So her valve opened, water flooded free
Steam flared and flourished against sky
Her spring doused thick lava
Put out the fire
Spread fairly quickly
Powerful, fierce
Flowing.

Each wet droplet meant to be used for good.
But her temperatures scalded the already burnt masses
Her steam was foggy, and blocked sunlight
Her waters mistaken as another threat
She became just as harmful,
And they furiously retaliated.
Cries of anguish
Rang out,
Deafening.

Heartbroken and extremely apologetic, she began to weep profusely.
Taking every criticism with full brute force, unrelenting
Couldn't fix it, couldn't explain her truth.
So agaisnt her will to aid
She forced the valve shut.
Closing off her currents
And kept her
Waves still,
Silent.
