The days of slate and chalk,
Are not easy to erase,
They hold memories,
Of my childhood,
As well as they gave me lessons,
Even if my hair turns gray,
I will never forget those days,
'cause they bring happiness to me,
That I was once a student,
It's remarkable,
Exploring and learning new things are memorable,
And talking to friends was so wonderful,
It feels great to reminisce the past,
They have always a special place in my heart.
