Had I known that life is difficult,
I would have reacted differently.

Had I known, things may not fall in place,
And we may change lines or lose our way;
I would have reacted differently.

Had I known people would leave ,
Only to come back for their own means;
I would have reacted differently.

They won't be long, they weren't to stay;
Had I known switching sides was part of their play.
I would have reacted differently,

Had I known depression is not entirely our fault,
And there are ways to fight our way back,
I would have reacted differently.

Had I known parents can sometimes not understand what we say,
But can love us nomatter anyway,
I would have reacted differently.

We try so hard to win and last,
only to realise it was a temporary past.
Had I known the fate before,
I would have reacted differently.

Feelings are a by-product of our emotional thoughts,
Had I known how to control my emotions;
I would have reacted differently.

But isn't that how we are ?
Isn't that who we display?
But what if we knew , what the future beholds;

Had we known how to REACT to everything,

Trust me ,
WE STILL MIGHT HAVE REACTED DIFFERENTLY...
