Can You Help Us?
I picked you up from amidst your likes;
many a broken piece, many a flattened tin,
many a crumbled sheet, many a worn-out wear,
different sizes, brands and colours of useless bags,
worthless junk and outdated equipment;
the torn, the used, the perforated and the duds,
spoilt, shattered, overused or forgone,
all left to rot, rust or be burnt.
I made you wanted and admired
so you owe me this life you live
or I'll return you to where I picked you from,
that home of trash and rubbish.

Should we still ask for help
when we have nothing to offer in return?
Should we ask for your help
without worries of such frightening words?
