I stand infront of a mirror
Searching for a face that's familiar..
Want to find someone who will hear,
And calm and soothe my troubled tears;
Telling me everything's going to be alright
And will be my shadow, my guide and my light,
But there somewhere seems like a mistake that I have made
A punishment for which I must undertake,
I want to scream and shout out loud
From the shackles of expectations I want to break out
Deep in the crowd of a thousand faces
I have lost the picture of my own face...
They want to mould me their way
None cares that from myself I am drifting away
Someone please pull down the veil that I wear,
Let me glimpse the world without any fear.
