In the end 'twas just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, after you were long gone,
In this reminiscence, true meaning my mind sought,
To figure what I did done wrong, how, why, I'm alone...

I roll up, get lit, sip hennie, then I lay on my bed,
I seek, in waiting, visions of certain mistakes made along the way,
Playback in my mind, flashes of moments I got lost in my own self,
And you holding onto something that perhaps I would come to myself

And yes I did, but, it's done late now, what if it isn't my heart sought of me,
Aunt Marie had said I need talk my heart out to you and make it right,
