Life may seem to get in the way,
Just remember never to sway.
Voices and visions may be in your head,
Just know you're never better off dead.

Life is never what one expects it to be,
Even if assuming it would be carefree.
Money and fame is not all you need,
Family and friends may not be a guarantee.

Keep your head held high,
Try to keep your eyes dry.
Bad days will eventually fade,
One day you won't have to be afraid.

Pick yourself up, stand strong.
Sometimes things may go wrong.
But life will always give you a brand new day,
You will wake up and be okay.
