Nineteen
Nineteen is one age, not just a number,
Time when i finally, woke up from a slumber.
Illusions collapsed, like a sand castle,
Silence clouded, my very inner hassle.
Teenage is over, and so is the dream,
No more I see my eyes are agleam.
Confluence of innocence, and newborn maturity,
More than adventures, I now seek security.
The velocity is reduced, of adrenaline gush,
There's more of patience, than hasty rush.
More I pray, to lead a peaceful life,
Distaste I feel, where there's a strife.
Count of people has greatly narrowed,
'Quality not quantity'- is my kinda highroad.
To end the fantasy, it's high time, I know,
Only those meet oceans, who continue to flow.
