I have thousands
of stories and tales.
I would like to share.

"Are you willing to listen?"

Would you lend an ear,
to the person who cannot
voice their thoughts because of fear?

Would you still lend a hand?
even if it had been denied
for a hundredth time?

"You probably wouldn't."

No matter how much
people like to sugarcoat it.

Human's 'caring' had
some hidden intentions
beneath it; Think about it.

People would only exert
some form of efforts;
When it'll benefit them
in the long run.

I'm sorry, is that too dark?
but sweetie, that, is reality.

Life has no knight
in shining armour.
Even the people
working with the law.
Trust, is what you should not
give to them so easily.

The governance
within the stories
is so far from
what we had in actuality.

Maybe not that far.
We had the one,
in what you can call
a tyrant King
who droves his kingdom
to ruins, because of his greed.

But in our time,
it is not only the King.
but also the servants
working for him.

The oath they have swored
that they shall always;

'Put the common good
of the people they serve first,
before anything else.'

had been long forgotten.

The princesses of this time
has been starving themselves
for awhile, to fit into
a very twisted meaning
of what they can call beauty.

The princes of this generation
has been long driven into depression.
Yet, continue to put up a front of such an astounding act of 'bravado'.

But a few still,
like some sort of miracle;
Their very existence
defies all odds.

They alone, bear the burden.
The burden of being the Hope.
Hope for restoring not only mine
but also many others dwindling faith in humanity.

No, they don't wear capes nor masks.
Instead, sometimes all they had
is their gentle smile.

Lacking of material things.
Yet they still continue
to give all what they could
to help those in need.

Some other times,
they are in a business suit.
In other days,
they are in their casual clothes.

They continue to help
even without the
need of recognitions.
Like a secret agent,
working under cover.

Who knows? You might
be sitting next to them
at this very moment.
The Hope of humanity.
