People thrive and people strive
to comfort themselves,
or live the life of luxury.

And yet still, there are homeless!

Many hearts are broken
and feelings used as tokens
for playing games with unsuspecting
targets in the name of amusement.

And yet still, people fall in love!

Money moves mountains
and it gives us anything
we want in this temporary existence
we call life.

And yet still, people are poor!

Education has propelled society
onto platforms of equality
for the better of the whole.

And yet still, racism lives!
