In the silence of the night
When my mind is at its loudest,
The dogs that are yet to howl were quiet
It's as if they need to hear my thoughts
As if I was of value
Even the frigid air
Seemed to be bothered by me
When it's supposed
To be the other way around
... maybe I matter.
