The Paradox of Heavy and Hollow
I got everything I needed, but my hands remain bare.
My mind is full of thoughts, yet no words to share.
I'm surrounded by daydreams but my eyes only see nightmares.
I see the paradox of plenty, but it's just a void in reality.

My liberty is caged, the walls are too high
My wings are bound by chains, forbidding me to fly.
Windows are sealed tight, concealing the night's delight
My soul yearns for stars, yet forced to adore the rainbow's sight.

I own a beautiful island, but I seek a forest.
Dreamt of a bridge to escape, But Alas, couldn't even build a nest.
Curse be upon me, unable to savor plenty,
Chasing wilderness, denying safety.

I got a long way to walk, yet I can barely crawl.
All the music surrounds, yet I couldn't dance at all.
My heart is a paradox, desires and doubts interlace.
Longing and loathing, the tangled web of solace.

I'm all alone surrounded by crowds,
Completely caged amidst the green grass meadows.
Perhaps blue skies aren't for my soul.
Perhaps my heart craves dark abyss where silence dwells.
