Once, I lived
In a dark silent abyss
No sunshine, no laughter
And certainly not beautiful lilies
Behold, a star shimmering bright
Came by
Angela, was her name
Her smile rare as
the black opal
It tugged at the strings of my heart
Filling me with abundant warmth
And I thought, she truly is
A creation out of this world

My love for Angela
Inexplicable, it is
Just by mere human knowledge
Even mother said to let go
But till this day
I sit in the open field, daydreaming;
