चलो आज से Accounting शुरू करते हैं,
सबसे पहले 3 Golden Rules of accounting ही दोहराते हैं।
Real account जहाँ tangible and intangible asset की बात की जाए,
तो इसलिए Debit what comes in & Credit what goes out,
जैसे Cash आया तो debit कर दिया और Cash गया तो credit कर दिया।
Personal account जहाँ व्यक्ति या company आदी के नाम की बात की जाए,
तो इसलिए Debit the receiver & Credit the giver,
जैसे Partners को कुछ मिला तो debit कर दिया,
और Partners ने कुछ दिया तो credit कर दिया।
Nominal account जहाँ income, expense, loss or gain की बात की जाए,
तो इसलिए Debit all expenses & losses and Credit all incomes & gains,
जैसे अगर कोई asset sale की जाए तो,
जो Cash आया है उसे Debit कर दो,
और Depreciation जो लगी है उसे भी debit कर दो,
और Profit on sale of asset को credit कर दो,
और Asset account को भी credit कर दो।
यही Accounting का आधार है,
इसके बिना जैसे सब कुछ बेकार है...।
