She would stay up long after all the world went to sleep
There was never any answer as to why her heart felt unsettling
For when she looked around she had foundations
That she knew would keep her safe
But then, she would look out her window
To see the moon and the stars brilliance
She felt her heart ache, she felt her soul longing
For that chance to be free
She found it in the eyes of others
In their touches and embraces
She felt her wild heart awaken
To the pull of new love
She felt tears start to sting her tired eyes
Finally, she let them fall
For to choose was the hardest part of all
Does she take her dreams and hide them away
To fulfill the expectations of the world?
Does she open the door to her own universe
Jump, and be free?
Her wild heart is calling, it's calling.
She finds herself falling, falling
Up into the sky with the clouds and their shapes
Past the atmosphere, into the unknown space
Into the stars that she so loves to embrace
To the moon, that is her escape
She opened her eyes, with birds chirping
The sun shining with the present of being a new day
She smiled knowing her dreams were but an eyelash away
She sighed knowing she would one day let her brave, turn into her greatest story
She loved knowing, there were souls out there made just for her
She was the biggest dreamer...
