I’m not scared of Death,
nor It of me —
Our hands join in amity

Life, however, had no grip
nor gesture in-between —
On this path we keep

Grim reaper, old friend,
I feel your scythe about
to swing, piece by piece

Companion of mortality,
thank you, for the kindness
of company
