I still remember the first kiss that made us feel brand new.
The first touch of your flesh,
the very first moment in time.
I choose you still, for this heart of mine.
I choose you still, when life is turmoil and refusals build.
I choose you in the rain,
I choose you in the shine,
for in this life I chose you to be mine.
Waves do encumber us for a moment,
Waves of life,
Waves of doubt,
Storms of frustration and misguided temptation.
Yet I choose you always, always until...

I'll love you when it's hard, I'll love you when it's easy.
I'll love you in new ways when the old ways are fleeting.
Memories may leave us, my darling, it is true.
Existing only in poetry, photographs, and the minds of a few.
Let it always be said,
We lived.. and we loved.
You were mine..
And I was yours.
