Yesterday

Reverberating echoes
Mingled with my days,
Breaching that threshold
Images adrift;
Sea of memories
Dissipating,
Into oblivion

Or so

Only to precipitate
Like morning rain,
Refreshing
Comforting,
All of a sudden
Pieces falling
Back into place,
Upon meeting
His gentle gaze
Again,

Today.
