Because I'm a Daughter
At the sight of me, there was no smile on their faces.
At the sight of me, they were disgusted.
I haven't even taken my first steps yet,
I didn't have dreams yet.
Oh! they abused my mother,
My poor mother.
They disvalues her, isolated and did all lots of wrong to here ( wrongs too disgusting to say). The only "crime" my mother committed was giving life to a daughter.
They called me useless, "No value" and a sorts of evil, just because I'm a daughter.
My heart bleeds more for my mother, she lost her pride, insulted both by her gender and "tradition".
What is wrong with being a daughter?
what's so bad being a woman?
what makes me less valuable?
what proves I'm unworthy of success?
what declares me less of a human?
