The stereotype we were told to be,
Mad our lives, but how?
Advertisements, people in the streets,
There are many ways how.

Girls to be pretty and skinny,
To take up drawing and art and drama and gymnastics,
Girls are supposed to be emotional and very girly,
Wearing pink and shopping and watching movies and doing the other girl's hair,
At parties,they would wear a dress,
Instead of a suit, a dress.
Skirts and crop tops and necklaces and jewelry and heels.
Why is that? Why does that have to be true?
Boys to be tough and bold,
To take up math and football and rugby,
Boys aren't supposed to be emotional.
Why is that? Why does that have to be true?
Girls date boys and boys date girls,
That's what we were told.
That's how life was expected to be like,
But that isn't true, its inaccurate.

We are different,
Who cares what we were expected to be?
Lesbian, Transgender,
Who cares what we look like or are like?
It is about the personality, not if we are different.
