Dark is the night,
Where unhinged souls wander,
In fathomless depths,
Full of stories untold
Where dangers lurk.

Shallow is the forest,
Gloomy night, strange souls
And blood thirsty angels of death,
Shadows in the wind,
Dancing for the heathen foes.

A dark void of unlived memories,
And faces unnamed and unseen,
Ghosts of love bound by a promise
Of 'forever' a word lovers use
In denial of the inevitable death.
