This isn't how it was supposed to end
Our ending should have been magical,
I wanted the in between,
The late night talks
The safeness
The feeling of love.
I wanted to look in your eyes and know that you love me.
To know that we were a sure thing
To know that I could have and hold you until the time came for us to part.
I just never knew that that part would come so quick.
I remember lying in my bed, looking up to the ceiling and trying not to cry. Feeling my heart start to shatter, telling myself,
that wasn't how it was supposed to end.
