THE LAST MESSAGE
A night so bright with shiny light ,
nothing unusual I slept in tight.
I heard a sound on my phone ,
And I was as ignorant as I can be ,
immersing in my sleep .
none would have thought of such misfortune
The sound I heard was nothing but the sound of my own fate deteriorating !
how things would have turn out for good
only "If" I had answered that message
only "If" I had not slept early that night
only "If" I had not been ignorant
"IF" and only "IF" is all i can think of now
How dejected i feel for not being able to bid you my last goodbye
I could have said so much , I could have done so much
can I ever move on yet knowing it hurts to try?
Words can merely delineate my pain , my emotion and my loss
Infact can words even be enough?
