INSTANT ANGER (TENDING THE TONGUE)
Your words have triggered emotions deep inside
Offense, hurt, and scars that won't subside
Be mindful of what you say, for words hold might
To bring solace or sorrow, in every passing light

Humor has bounds, don't overstep the line
Lest jokes become hurtful and leave scars that shine
Aggression fuels conflict, let's not ignite
Shield your words with kindness, and let love unite

We borrow words, but own their might
When anger bursts, it drains our light
Let's choose peace, without tearing down
And mend our souls, with a loving crown

In the silence, let's find a gentle tone
Where empathy and understanding are sown
Let's nurture hearts, and not fuel the pain
And cultivate love, like summer rain

Through mindful speech, we can heal and grow
And create a world where love and kindness flow
Let's tend our words, like a garden so fair
And harvest peace, with love and care
