'Leave him!' is what you say.
You say he is a loss.
You say he is worthless
and that our paths shouldn't cross.

Really, is that what you think?
Do you feel hate when you see him?
Or do u feel repulsed by the fact
that you daughter is so dim?

When I see my mother
I hope for this:
That before she asks me to leave him,
she'll realize what I'll sorely miss

You only ask how I could love him,
But you never ask me why.
I suppose you'd prefer his leave,
even if cruelly, you would have to lie.
