life was my death
and death was like life
I was a mess
too broken I guess
I always thought I was gonna break
but the heavens sent you for my sake
to help stop this ache
to be the bandaid to my bruises
to heal my heart from the abuses
you picked me from the cold
told me I should be bold
forget the fear
am not alone cause you are here
cause you care
and will always be there
you made death scary
losing you made me teary
you said if I ever feel lost
you'll find me at all cost
when I fall and drown
you'll pick me from the ground
you freed me from the chain
now I can dance in the rain
kissed my teary eyes
hushed my bruised lips
Caressed my swollen cheeks
and told me I'll be fine
and you'll always be mine
you say I no longer have to cry
cause if you can't help, you'll try
I told you I was lost in depression
you said that sad word I shouldn't mention
am scared
cause you make me feel vulnerable
you love so honourable
am scared
you make me let my guard down
when you speak,i don't hear no sound
am scared cause I've always been alone
but now you feel like home
I've been alone
but you make me scared to be on my own
I always want you with me
you make me something I can't see
I think am in love
I think my heart found a beat
my body feels the heat
whenever we meet
I was always cold and lost
everyone thought I'll always be that way
but it changed that day
I heard you say
you're mine
I actually felt I could be fine
gave me attention I wasn't used to
you adored all I went through
you always show you care
I always want you here
love I don't know how to show
if I do something wrong,let me know
cause I don't want to let you go
I can't go back to the cold
I can't go back to that breaking storm
when I already know how it feels to be warm
