Her heart was ecstatic,
That eternity seemed to be shorter–
Than the wavelength of the color red.
But in her sorrows,
The moments turned into hours–
To weeks that was longer than a year.
The minutes were slow,
But the pace of the seconds became fierce–
That the time became shorter and shorter,
Until hearts stopped beating.
The time was brief but she knew,
She loved.
