I've grown intensely over the years
I've looked within dug up my fears
stood in the rain to bring about cheer
noticed the growth I've accepted
some lessons still rejecting
chose the broken over the healthy
closed the conversation that was gonna make me wealthy
with anger or embarrassement an failure
persevered learned silence and treasured
the very scars
that left me almost helpless
pieces of my heart I cherish
sweet light in the dark that didn't parish
