Growing up like a piece of rag
picked-up with useful hands, attached like tag
now i'm carrying treasures in my bag

growing up facing temptations
from distractions
and from the harsh economic frustrations

growing up not treasuring those kind of pleasures
knowing they're only going to lead me to distructions
so was growing up always paying attentions

growing up we were warned
avoid that part and guide your hearts
look up when you are tired to look down
and your worries will be less
