Once I Saw (Coronation)
Once I saw
A dragon with golden eyes
Fashion a crown from twigs and gilding
And he told me “You will be king
For as long as Mankind is here.”
“I can’t say that’s been made very well.”
Any enchantment made on wood
Was likely to rub off.
Did I even want to be King?
“That’s alright. Mankind won't be
Around for much longer.”
The dragon said this and coronated me,
Sealing everyone’s fate.
