We Are All Human

In life, we draw lines in the sand, Dividing ourselves by caste and by brand, But when the final moments draw near, These divisions begin to disappear.

For in death's embrace, we all are the same, No longer bound by society's claim, The veil of prejudice starts to fade, As we confront the end of our earthly parade.

When alive, we seek identity and kin, A sense of belonging deep within, But as the final breath draws near, These trivial labels start to disappear.

In life, we crave a sense of place, A tribe to call our own, a familiar face, Yet in death's quiet and solemn hour, These differences lose their power.

For in the end, we are all just the same, Mortal beings with no one to blame, The truth of our unity becomes clear, As we let go of caste, creed, and color, my dear.

So let us strive to see beyond, The artificial barriers we've drawn, For in the end, when all is said and done, We are all human, beneath the sun.
