The story of life is never simple,
Mostly it's as hurtful as popping a pimple.
There are many surprises life can bring us,
But we also must be thankful for all that is given to us.
Life is a one time opportunity,
One day we will die.
In a dark grave our bodies will lie.
So in the meantime, let us enjoy our time.
Time is as precious as gold,
You never know when it will be taken away.
Life may be distressing,
But at the same time it is a blessing.
Even if life doesn't give you the gifts you want,
the real gift, is life itself.
