If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,
Some times I can't help but wonder
Why my heart can't stop throbbing
Like the sound of thunder
I see you here and I see there
But I hold my greatest fear
Maybe one day I'll see you no more
And my heart can't help but mourn
So if only wishes can come true
I won't wish for the stars of the sky
But only of you
