I spent 1,689 days stressing. when they told me I was facing life I learned my lesson. didn't even do the crime but they said he's young and he's black we gotta find someway to stretch him! scared me into excepting a plea for 9yrs with 80% for assault with a deadly weapon, said I fled through the mud but I had on brand new shoes. I was sitting in prison for some shit I didn't even do. they say I'm the boy who cried wolf. now I'm just a man in blue traded years of my life for a prison clown suit! my back against the wall ready to scrap not just for myself. for martin luther king, malcolm X, huey p, geronimo pratt. what makes you so afraid of having melanin and being black?
