Maybe I should just
become one with the pain.
I am the pain.
The pain is me.
At this point the
hurt it is all I can see.
I wish it would just leave
but it seems to not want
to stay away from me.

I’m tired of even trying
to make an attempt
to escape.
At least the pain stays
unlike you the way
you ran away.
