I Wish I Could Fly
I wish I could fly,
So I could be free amongst the birds,
Free from rules,
Free from boundaries.
I wish I could fly,
So I could soar through the clouds,
See the sun, the moon, and the stars from above,
Bright, magical, mystical heaven.
See a storm brew itself slowly,
Knitting the rain through the heavy grey blanket.
Look at the colorful northern lights,
Weaving itself, into the pitch black sky, decorated with shimmering diamonds.
I wish I could fly,
So I could take a little trip to outer space,
Visit the moon, or a nearby galaxy,
Only a few light years away.
Witness nebulae forming,
Gamma rays from exploding stars, like fire crackers alight.
I wish I could fly,
So I could stay in my own world,
Of silence, peace and freedom.
