Dear lord,
I wish to make a wish,
A plea to have a good dish,
A plea to attain riches,
And not do the dishes,

Lord make me flourish,
So I'll be nourished,
Give me a sense of understanding,
Of your sacred words,

I have become fragile,
But you Lord,is agile,
Give me a taste of your strength,
So I'll have a good stand,

Lord I stay in a silent room,
Thinking of my doom,
The thoughts of that tomb,
Is my standing hope,

Accept my plea and letter dear Lord,
So I may become a believer,
And not just a receiver,
Of the written words.
