Sundried
I know sometimes you wish you wasn’t here
One gunshot,
One cut wrist,
One overdose,
Then you disappear
You try talking but nobody seems to hear
Screaming out for help until your lungs dry out
Nobody cares,
Nobody listens,
But then they scream and shout when you refuse to come clean about your whereabouts
You sniff and you snort until you forget about
All the pain and suffering from the people who loved you
At least that’s what you thought
You wanna keep living and you wanna keep trying
But you’ve had enough of the crying
So you cut and cut and cut some more
Praying that it works
Most of the time it doesn’t but it still hurts
Everything you’ve been through
All the tears you’ve shed and the words you’ve said
They went unheard and unseen
There goes the gleam
When you’re all cried out,
When you’re all dried out,
Your soul leaves your body,
And you’re just all died out
